Why We Love Ark's Chewable Stick Figure
ARK's Buddy Bite™ Chewable Stick Figure is a fun and friendly chew tool designed to meet your child's chewing needs. ARK’s Buddy Bite is designed so its extensions are long enough to reach the back molars, where we usually chew the most, for proprioceptive input to the masseter muscle. The loops are firmer and provide more resistance for chewing on both sides of the mouth at the same time.
Great for bringing along to school, days out, or just for use around the house, a chewable stick figure offers a discreet way to satisfy chewing needs. It's a fun alternative to traditional chew aids, supporting your child in a playful, comforting way.
ARK's Buddy Bite is available in 3 colour-coded toughness levels:
- Standard (Red) - This is the softest level for mild chewers.
- XT / Medium Firm (Lime Green) - These are firmer but fairly chewy. Recommended for moderate chewers.
- XXT / Very Firm (Royal Blue) - These are the most firm and provide the most resistance for those with oral needs. It still has some “chewability” to it. No chew tool is indestructible, but these are sturdy and durable.
As this is a larger chew, you may want to "size down" a toughness level. For example, if you're used to the Grabber in XT, you may want the standard level in the Buddy Bite™.
How to Use a Chewable Stick Figure
Always supervise your child when using ARK's Buddy Bite. Make sure to wash them frequently with warm water and mild soap. After washing, rinse them well and dry them completely before giving them back to your child.
These oral motor chew tool are very strong and lasting, but they are not indestructible. You should regularly inspect the chew and replace the chewable stick figure if it shows signs of wear and tear. They will typically last depending on the amount and intensity of chewing, as well as jaw strength, stress and anxiety levels and other sensory strategies.

CUSTOMS INFORMATION:
Everyday OT is based in Ireland. Please note the following regarding customs and import charges:

UK: Orders may be subject to import VAT and Royal Mail handling fees upon delivery. These charges are set by UK customs and are the responsibility of the customer.

EU (excluding Ireland): No customs duties apply, but local VAT may be charged depending on your country’s import rules.

Outside the EU (e.g. USA, Australia): Orders may be subject to customs duties, VAT, and handling fees, depending on your country’s regulations. These are the responsibility of the customer.
TRACKING YOUR ORDER:

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email to monitor the delivery status.

If your parcel appears delayed or hasn't arrived, we recommend the following steps before contacting us:
- Use the tracking number to check the status directly on the courier’s website or contact them directly.
- Check with neighbors or your local delivery office to ensure it hasn't been left with someone or held for collection.
- Look for any notification slips left by the courier.
- If you are unable to resolve the issue with the courier, please contact us for further assistance, and we will be happy to help.

PHYSICAL PRODUCTS
We want you to be happy with your order. If you’re not fully satisfied with the item(s) you purchased, you can request to return them within 28 days of the delivery date.
How to Start a Return
- Contact us first at support@everydayotireland.com for return instructions and the correct return address. Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.
- Include your order number and reason for return so our team can guide you through the next steps.
- Returned items must be in original packaging, unused, clean, undamaged, and in resalable condition with all original tags and labels attached.
Hygiene and Safety Exceptions
For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged once opened or used:
- ARK chewy products
- Dr. Barman’s toothbrushes
- OranNurse toothpaste
Please ensure you are happy with your selection before opening the packaging.
Return Shipping
- You are responsible for the cost of returning goods.
- All goods remain your responsibility until we receive them.
- We cannot refund any items that are lost or damaged in transit, or that do not arrive back safely. Please ensure all returns are packaged appropriately.
- If the item is faulty or we sent an incorrect item, Everyday OT will cover the cost of return postage and provide a replacement or refund.
- If an item is returned for inspection and no fault is found, the customer will be responsible for the return postage costs.
- If you’d like us to generate a tracked return label, we can do so and deduct the actual label cost from your refund. This option is available for returns within Ireland and the UK only.
Refunds
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method once your return has been received and inspected and are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods. Refund processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.
- Delivery costs are non-refundable unless the item was faulty or incorrect.
- If any customs charges or duties apply to a returned item, these will not be covered by Everyday OT. Any unpaid fees billed back to us may be deducted from your refund. We’ll always contact you before proceeding if this occurs.
Undeliverable or Refused Parcels
- If an order is returned to us as undeliverable or refused, we will refund the item(s) once received, minus the original shipping cost and any return shipping fees charged by the carrier.
- If you’d like the order re-shipped, a new delivery fee will apply.
International Returns & Customs
If returning an item from outside Ireland:
- Any customs duties, import fees, or handling charges are the responsibility of the customer. Any fees billed back to Everyday OT for unpaid customs may be deducted from your refund. We recommend using a tracked service and retaining proof of postage until your return is confirmed as received.
DIGITAL DOWNLOADS / WEBINAR RECORDINGS
We are committed to providing high-quality digital files to our customers. However, due to the nature of digital products, we do not provide refunds under any circumstances.
Before making a purchase, we encourage all customers to carefully review the product description, preview images, and any provided samples to ensure that the digital file meets their needs and expectations. By purchasing a digital file from Everyday OT you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

LEARN TO CYCLE WORKSHOP AND THE OT CLUB
Please note that refunds will only be provided if the Workshop or a session of the OT Club is cancelled and will not be given for any other reason, including but not limited to personal circumstances or scheduling conflicts. In the event that a Workshop/OT Club session is cancelled, we will provide a full refund to all registered participants.

GIFT CARDS
Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, except where required by law. Gift cards have a minimum expiry period of five years from the date of purchase. Any items purchased using a gift card may be returned in accordance with our standard return policy, and the refund will be issued in the form of store credit or a replacement gift card. If the purchase amount is less than the value of the gift card, the remaining balance will be retained on the gift card for future use.
