How we can help

We'll fit around whatever your school needs

Whatever the budget stretches to, and whoever needs it. One teacher, the whole staff, or one child in particular.

1

A consultation about one child

Best ifthere's one child you need more support with and you want to talk them through with an OT. Parental consent needed
2

Online CPD for the whole staff

Best ifyou want the whole staff room trained on the same things, in their own time. Over ten webinars, thirty days', whole staff access. Free trial available
3

A workshop in your school

Best ifyou want everyone in one room, live, with time for questions. From 60 minutes for your Croke Park hour to half day closures. Suitable for teachers, SNAs or the whole staff
4

An classroom visit & assessment for one child

Best ifyou need the full picture on a child, written up, to plan properly around them. Classroom and yard observation, teacher meeting, full report with recommendations
5

Small group work

Best ifa group of children need to work on similar things such as motor skills, coordination, regulation, assistive technology, learning to cycling etc
6

An OT on your team for the year

Best ifyou'd rather have someone who already knows your school, your staff and the children, not a stranger starting from scratch each time. An agreed number of visits, consultations and staff sessions, planned with you at the start of the year.
Tell us what you needand we'll help you choose which of these would actually help

Feedback

What schools say afterwards

★★★★★

"The very helpful practical strategies, Kevin's accessibility and willingness to share his own experiences. The connection with the parents is excellent, audience participation and role play was fun and very effective"

— Liz
★★★★★

"We enjoyed everything, but the use of plain, simple lanuage is fantastic and makes the workshop more understandable to all."

— Victoria
★★★★★

"Staff feedback was very positive. They felt Kevin was very easy to listen too with practical information that would help them support children in school. It was a really good starting point for staff to help them identify appropriate movement strategies in response to the observations they make of the child and what input they need at differing times across the day."

— Ciaràn
★★★★★

"I have to say, that was the best training our staff have had. Kevin has a way of explaining things so simply and the stories he used meant everyone could see exactly what he was on about in their own classroom. They were engaged the whole way through, which doesn't always happen. Every school should be doing this as standard."

Good to know

Questions we get asked

How far will you travel?+
We travel around the country delivering workshop. Just bear in mind that we are in Dublin 15 and do charge for travel. Lots of schools further afield from us choose to do workshops over zoom to cut down on costs.
Can you do it on Zoom instead?+
Yes. Every workshop runs live on Zoom for the same fee, with no travel on top.
How many staff can be in the room?+
Up to 50 is included in the fee. More than that is tiered, so just tell us your numbers and we'll quote it properly.
Can you build something specific for us?+
Please do ask. Some of our best sessions started with a school telling us exactly what was happening in their classrooms.
Do you work with the children themselves?+
For visits and assessments, yes. We see the child in their own classroom. The workshops are for the adults around them.

Not sure what you need? Just ask

Tell us a bit about your school and what's coming up. We'll tell you honestly what would help — and if it's not something we do, we'll say that too.
