Yes, I’d definitely recommend this course! It gives you a fresh perspective on how sensory needs affect learning and behaviour, and it offers loads of practical, easy-to-use strategies. Whether you're new to the topic or just looking to improve your classroom environment, there’s something useful for everyone. It really helped me think more intentionally about creating a space where all students can feel calm, focused, and included.

Sarah

This has been the most relevant and interesting Summer course I have completed (in 13 years of teaching!). Thanks so much for all the work that went in to planning and presenting each module.

Irene

Thank you so much for all the hard work that you clearly put into this course. This course has really made me critically analyse my approach to sensory processing. It is genuinely one of the top three courses I've ever done.

Susan G

Thank you so much, there aren't many EPV course for an Autism class teacher out there but I feel that this one is a must-do!

Emma D

Well done on an amazing course. Of all the courses I have completed in my 18 years teaching career, this has been the best and most beneficial for me. I look forward to the positive impact it will have on my future teaching and indeed, my personal life.

Maria S

Excellent course! I've enjoyed every aspect of it from the content, to the way it was delivered and the fact that this course has to be done within a specific time frame it ensured that all material from each module was fresh in my mind which allowed for a better understanding of the topic as a whole.

ABOUT EVERYDAY OT

Everyday OT works closely with teachers, parents, and schools across Ireland to better understand children’s sensory, motor, and regulation needs and how these show up in everyday school life. Our work is grounded in a child-led, neuroaffirming approach and in the belief that when children feel safe, understood, and supported in their environment, they are far more able to settle, learn, connect with others, and enjoy being a child in school.

A big part of our work happens directly in Irish classrooms. Every week we are in schools delivering workshops, supporting staff teams, and speaking with teachers about the realities they are navigating, from movement needs and attention, to motor skills, handwriting, and supporting children whose nervous systems experience the classroom differently.

Everything we create is shaped by these real conversations with schools. Last year, over 400 teachers completed our course, with incredibly positive feedback about how practical and relevant the learning was for their classrooms.
