Creating regulation
friendly classrooms
with Kevin & Áine from Everyday OT ✨Practical, regulation-first strategies to support children in moments when things feel overwhelming and learn how small changes to classroom environments, routines and tasks that help more children feel settled, supported, and ready to learn.
This course is made for you if...
You can see that something just isn’t working for certain children in your class, but it’s not always clear what might be contributing to it or where to begin.
You've heard about regulation-first approaches and you're curious about what they actually mean and how they could work in a real, busy Irish classroom.
You’re tired of trying strategies that don’t seem to make a lasting difference and you want to look at your classroom environment and routines in a different way.
You want your EPV course to give you something you’ll actually use in September practical ideas and small changes that fit into your existing classroom.
what teachers are saying...
Well done on an amazing course. Of all the courses I have completed in my 18 years teaching career, this has been the best and most beneficial for me. I look forward to the positive impact it will have on my future teaching and indeed, my personal life.
I really enjoyed the course and will be a more neuroaffirmative teacher and parent because of it. Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge and experience.
Just very well done to you all. I have wanted to learn about OT as I now realise that there's nobody coming to save the children in my class unless I get more proactive rather than giving out about the lck of services. That isn't going to help them. I had focused on SLT and AAC since starting the class last year and we have made great strides but my focus is OT going forward and I really can't wait to see the difference I can make with the strategies I've learned. Thanks so much. You've created a fantastic course and I wish you every success with it.
Excellent course! I've enjoyed every aspect of it from the content, to the way it was delivered and the fact that this course has to be done within a specific time frame it ensured that all material from each module was fresh in my mind which allowed for a better understanding of the topic as a whole.
Thanks for a great course. It has made me more empathetic, curious and given me a whole new outlook on peoples' behaviours!
A fantastic course through and through. There was a lot of content to get through, but very valuable content. Have to say this is one course where I am genuinely coming away from saying I have learned something! Well done to everyone that was involved in putting this course content together.
