Does this sound like you?

This course is made for you if...

You're seeing more and more neurodivergent children in your classroom and want to feel genuinely equipped to support them, not just get by.

You're managing behaviour that feels confusing or overwhelming, and you want to understand what's really going on beneath the surface.

You want your EPV course to genuinely shift how you understand and support the children in your classroom, not just earn the days and be forgotten by September

You're doing your best with limited support and want practical strategies that actually work in a real, busy Irish classroom.

What you'll learn

Inside the course

Following the incredible success of last year's course, with over 400 teachers taking part, Becoming a Sensory Detective is back for 2026. This online course will equip you with practical, neuroaffirmative strategies that have been tried and tested in real Irish classrooms. You'll develop a genuine understanding of sensory processing, what it is, how it shows up in behaviour and learning, and what to do about it. You'll learn to identify each child's sensory profile and build tailored support plans that actually work within the reality of a busy classroom. From regulation breaks and flexible seating to a full classroom environment audit, every strategy is practical, low-cost and ready to use from September. This isn't theory for the sake of it. It's grounded, actionable learning created by a Senior Paediatric OT, an Occupational Therapy Assistant, and an experienced primary school teacher who understands exactly what Irish classrooms look like. Have questions? Reach us at hello@everydayotireland.com, we'd love to help.
