WHAT LAST YEAR'S PARTICIPANTS HAD TO SAY...
ABOUT EVERYDAY OT
Everyday OT works closely with teachers, parents, and schools across Ireland to better understand children’s sensory, motor, and regulation needs and how these show up in everyday school life. Our work is grounded in a child-led, neuroaffirming approach and in the belief that when children feel safe, understood, and supported in their environment, they are far more able to settle, learn, connect with others, and enjoy being a child in school.
A big part of our work happens directly in Irish classrooms. Every week we are in schools delivering workshops, supporting staff teams, and speaking with teachers about the realities they are navigating, from movement needs and attention, to motor skills, handwriting, and supporting children whose nervous systems experience the classroom differently.
Everything we create is shaped by these real conversations with schools. Last year, over 400 teachers completed our course, with incredibly positive feedback about how practical and relevant the learning was for their classrooms.
