Does your child bite the top of their pencil or crayon? Are they chewing their clothes when doing their homework or tabletop activities? The ARK's Brick Stick® Chewable Pencil Topper is a safe solution for anyone who needs to chew!
Available in four colours, pencil top chewers are designed with a solid chewable end, a hollow end to fit conveniently over standard pencils, and textured for tactile input. The front side features large bumps, with small bumps on the back side for varied sensory input. These chewable pencil toppers provide an excellent source of oral sensory input and are discreet, disguising themselves as regular pencil erasers.
Chewy pencil toppers provide children with an outlet for improved calm, focus, and self-regulation in a classroom or home environment. As a bonus, they also provide extra weight to the pencil, increasing hand awareness and promoting correct pencil positioning.

ARK'S Brick Stick® Chewable Pencil Topper is available in 2 toughness levels:
- Soft / Standard (Red, Dark Blue): This is the softest level, recommended for mild chewers (those who do not chew through anything).
- XT / Medium Firm, Xtra Tough (Teal, Hot Pink): This is the middle level, which we call XT ("Xtra Tough"). It's firmer, but still fairly chewy, recommended for moderate chewers..
How long a chew tool lasts depends on how much and how hard it's chewed, along with other things like jaw strength, stress and anxiety levels, and if different sensory strategies are used. Some children might use the same chew tool for a long time, but those who chew a lot or have strong oral needs might wear it out fast.
